MISSION STATEMENT:

Prosperity Path’s mission is to champion the needs of our constituents with different abilities. We put our trust into the necessary protocols that provide the tools needed for our constituents to be prosperous within today’s society. Our goal is to be a rest haven for intellectual and emotional stimulation for all our constituents. Regarding the facilitation of care, our Direct Care Professionals/Executive Staff will be person centered oriented and take a tactful approach when dealing with the needs, wants, and desires of our constituents. We are prepared to provide the absolute best care possible.

PHILOSOPHY: THE “PATH” TO PROSPERITY

The acronym below represents our beliefs and principals regarding the facilitation of care for our constituents with different abilities. These core philosophies will serve as a measuring stick for success for our constituents and prove to be a useful strategy when championing the wants and needs of persons with different abilities:

Patience: It is imperative that our staff shows the highest levels of equanimity when dealing with our constituents. We pride ourselves on our ability to be mentally steadfast when confronted with a depravity presented by our constituents. We understand that many of our constituents with different abilities are misunderstood, and that misunderstanding can lead to a difficult situation. We believe using patience will circumvent the grassroot of the issue, while empowering the client through a streamline version of respect, confidence building, and a client specific approach to servicing the need/want at hand.

Altruism: We follow the basic principles of altruism. To be “altruistic” is to be selfless, even at the expense of yourself, for the betterment of others. We apply this principal in efforts to provide the absolute best care possible for our constituents. Our staff will act as if service to others is our only sense of purpose. We will not look at our version of altruism as some form of consequentialism and expect good in return for doing good. We will do good and not expect anything in return, outside of a happy, satisfied, and confident constituent with Prosperity Path.

Transparency: Prosperity Path prides itself on our ability to be completely open regarding accountability and communication with Managing Care Organizations, DHHS, constituents within the program, guardians of the constituents, and our Direct Care Professional/Executive Staff. Accountability is paramount within our organization so we will always provide the most accurate information we possess regardless of what the perceived outcome may or may not be. Regarding our constituents, we will always hold our staff accountable for making sure our constituents receive stellar care, person centered attention, and a pathway of success and happiness. EVERY constituent will have a voice. No one will be silenced. All parties will be accountable, ESPECIALLY on the side of Prosperity Path

Harmony: Once we have shown an innate level of equanimity, juxtaposed with selflessness and accountability for our work and care for our constituents, all parties involved can cohabitate in harmony; all in alliance with the same goal: Our constituents being prosperous in society. This is the PROSPERITY PATH OF SUCCESS for persons with different abilities.

VALUES:

CLASS: Prosperity Path prides itself on class. Being that we view class as the business need, it is imperative that we address our constituents and the work associated with them, with the utmost quality. Quality and/or class will separate us from the pack, and show the seriousness, passion, and effort we put into every constituent we serve.

PERSON CENTERED APPROACH: When dealing with persons with different abilities, it is imperative that we put emphasis on what our constituents are capable of, not the circumstances they face. Our goal is to empower our constituents’ strengths, provide person centered care and support, provide service with passion, and coordinate person centered policy and/or support for the constituents we serve.

COURTESY: It is important that we show a high level of politeness within our on behaviors when dealing with persons with different abilities. Civility is paramount and respect is reciprocal, so we must take the leadership role and make sure our constituents know and understand they are always receiving the highest levels of courtesy.

RECTITUDE: Rectitude is defined as a person having morally correct behavior or thinking. ALL Prosperity Path staff will display the highest levels of rectitude regarding the constituents we serve. Rectitude behavior will guarantee our constituents are receiving honorable Direct care professionals who understand carelessness will not be tolerated, and morale compass is salient. Executive staff will subscribe to the same probity as aforementioned.

COACTION: Coaction is defined as the action or process of working or acting together. The term is mostly used when discussing biology due to its ability to connect the relationships between organisms within a community. We think it is important to point that out because our constituents are just like those organisms, looking for something that works with them and not for them, in efforts to achieve their desired goal. These teamwork functionalities help staff, and our constituents build a bond, in efforts to provide the absolute best care available.

SOLUTION PRACTICALITY: Solution Practicality means the aspects of a situation that involves actually doing something tangible and solving the depravity, rather than the usage of theory, rhetoric, or some type of stale, outdated ideology to pacify our constituents. Our goal is to maintain a solution-based environment for our constituents, so they never feel abandoned and/or betrayed and always have a home base of enlightenment and practicality within the confines of Prosperity Path.
